Episode 3 - Bells 🔔
Welcome back for the third episode, onto Bells.
Unlike Sri Lanka I arrived 3 days before the big swell! The surf got so big it was breaking from Bells through Winki Pop. Another unfortunate event was the peak of the swell, I had in unforgettable errand to run. The rental car company had double booked my car and I needed to return it in the City during the exact hour of the swell peaking. It came and went so fast. Anywho that’s not planning ahead for ya!
We had firing waves the days leading up to the contest but got swept off our feet with onshore conditions through to the finals. Managed to make a heat but then got trapped with below average scores.
